The Grade 80 Eye Self-Locking Hook (ESK Type) is a heavy-duty lifting component engineered to serve as a highly secure bottom hook in sling assemblies. It ensures safe load capture during demanding industrial lifting and material handling tasks.
Universal Eye Connection: Features a standard forged eye designed for reliable attachment to chain slings, wire ropes, and synthetic rigging using mechanical links.
Automatic Self-Locking: Equipped with a safety latch that closes automatically when tension is applied and will not release even if the lifting line goes slack.
High-Strength Forging: Manufactured from premium quenched and tempered Grade 80 alloy steel in strict compliance with EN 1677 lifting standards.
Certified Safety: Rigorously proof-load tested to 2.5 times the Working Load Limit (WLL) with a reliable 4:1 safety factor and a protective powder-coated finish.
Automatic Self-Locking: The hook automatically closes and locks as soon as the load is applied. It cannot open under load, ensuring total security even during jerky crane operations.
European Design: Manufactured to EN 1677-3 standards. Features the classic European "BK" profile for a high strength-to-weight ratio and snag-free performance.
Trigger Release: The recessed trigger allows the operator to easily open the hook when the load is grounded, but prevents accidental opening during the lift.
Eye Connection: Designed with a fixed eye for easy attachment to wire rope slings (via thimbles) or Grade 80 chain slings (via Connecting Links).

⚠️ Safety & Compatibility Notes
DO NOT mix Grade 80 components with other grades (G70, G100) in the same sling leg.
Always match Grade 80 chain with Grade 80 fittings.
Observe sling angle factors and WLL reductions during lifts.
Inspect regularly for: Wear (>10%), Cracks/Distortion, Corrosion, or Heat Damage.
