Bolt type Chain Shackle

A Dee type chain shackle is a type of shackle that is used to connect two components of a chain, cable or rope together, or to secure an object to a fixed point. It consists of a U-shaped metal body with a threaded pin or bolt that passes through the ends of the "U" to lock the shackle in place.

The "Dee" in Dee type chain shackle refers to the shape of the body, which is similar to the letter "D". This shape allows the shackle to be used in applications where a straight line pull is required, or where there is limited space for the shackle to move.
