Ratchet Chain Load Binder

A ratchet chain load binder is a tool used to tighten and secure chains around cargo on flatbed trailers, trucks, or other vehicles. It is also known as a lever load binder or a chain tensioner.

The load binder consists of two main components - a ratchet mechanism and a chain hook. The ratchet mechanism is used to tighten the chain, while the chain hook is used to attach the chain to the cargo.

To use a ratchet chain load binder, the user first attaches one end of the chain to the cargo and the other end to the vehicle. The load binder is then placed over the middle of the chain and the ratchet mechanism is used to tighten the chain until it is secure around the cargo. The ratchet mechanism allows the user to make small adjustments to the tension in the chain until it is tightened to the desired level.

It is important to use the appropriate load binder size for the chain being used and to follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully to ensure safe and secure cargo transport.
